Congratulations to MyPolis, the Portuguese initiative turning civic education into an immersive experience! Winner of the 2025 Democracy Innovation Award by the Council of Europe, MyPolis uses virtual reality and board games to help young people become active citizens. MyPolis empowers young Europeans to identify local challenges and propose democratic solutions. Implemented across 6 countries with 11 partners, it’s a model for participatory democracy in action.
