Earlier this year I had the incredible experience of seeing the Mackinac Bridge from where most people see it: driving through it from the dashboard of a car… but then, I got to walk down 100 steps to the base and see below the bridge! I crawled through a small hole, went up a tiny elevator, through several tunnels and climb a ladder to the very top of the tower. I took the ferry to St. Ignace in the Upper Peninsula and boarded a small plane to Mackinac Island to see the bridge from the sky. The
