I rarely post things from my athletics career. But as tonight is the Rome Diamond League I’ve become all nostalgic. This was from 2012. I jumped in Rome twice and won twice. Almost jumping exactly the same distance both times (8.32 & 8.31) it’s an incredible stadium with an incredible atmosphere when full. Bolt was also running and the stadium was electric … just now I liked it. Wait for for reaction 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣 | Greg Rutherford

Half a decade ago I managed to complete the set. Olympic, Commonwealth, European and on this day WORLD champion. Only the 5th Briton to hold all major titles (see if you can name the others) I was so incredibly proud of this win. My only regret... Not taking my last 2 jumps. I was in such good shape and had a foul around 8.65 earlier in the comp. But I won it all and became the greatest British long jumper in our history... I shouldn’t complain. | Greg Rutherford
