84 years ago, on Sunday morning, December 7, 1941, the Japanese bombed the US naval base Pearl Harbor on Hawaii. The result: more than 2,400 US soldiers were killed, 18 destroyed naval ships and 188 destroyed aircraft. Because the attack had not been preceded by a declaration of war, US President Franklin D.
