DPWH Sec. Vince Dizon wrote to House Speaker Rep. Martin Romualdez requesting the extension of the submission of the agency’s revised 2026 budget to September 15 from September 12 due to the volume of documents for review. The DPWH’s request for an extension is granted as announced by House Committee on Appropriations Chairperson Rep. Mikaela Suansing. To give House lawmakers time to scrutinize the revised proposal, the second budget deliberations for the DPWH is now scheduled at September 17. |
