Five-star running back Savion Hiter committed to Michigan on Tuesday during a ceremony hosted at Mineral, Virginia's Louisa County High School. Hiter, the top running back prospect in the class of 2026, chose the Wolverines over an impressive list of suitors including Tennessee, Georgia and Ohio State .

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Hiter, from Louisa County High in Mineral, Va., is rated the nation’s No. 1 running back in the 247Sports composite rankings. He’s also ranked the No. 9 player overall.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that top running back recruit Savion Hiter is committing to Michigan. It's an incredible pickup for the Wolverines and is a great pairing with Bryce Underwood as two top teenagers coming to the program.
