Lionel Messi scored in his comeback game for Inter Miami, contributing to a 3-1 win against LA Galaxy, even as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

Lionel Messi is back. In his first game after returning from a hamstring injury that kept him out since Aug. 2, Messi scored his 19th goal of the season before sending a backheel assist to Luis Suárez, who scored, bringing Inter Miami to a 3-1 win over the LA Galaxy on Saturday night.

Inter Miami is set to return to MLS action this weekend as they take on the LA Galaxy, the MLS champions. The game will be played at Chase Stadium and will be the Herons' last MLS game before returning to Leagues Cup action next week.
