Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed an expanded emergency declaration that added Texas counties impacted by the disastrous flooding. The new declaration now includes Bexar, Burnet, Caldwell, Guadalupe, Travis and Williamson counties, Abbott said at a press conference Saturday afternoon.

Texas officials reported that at least 25 people have died and 237 people were rescued Friday following major flooding in Central Texas.

Governor Greg Abbott and other Texas leaders held a press conference to confirm the death toll at 32, the number of missing at 27, and added more counties to the Disaster Declaration, while President Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem expressed their support for the state of Texas.
