A Chicago man has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of two workers at the city's popular Navy Pier tourist attraction, authorities said Saturday.

CHICAGO - A 59-year-old man was shot and killed Monday night in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. Around 6:20 p.m., the man was near an alley in the 6400 block of South Parnell Avenue when he was struck by gunfire. The man was shot in his arm and ear and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

He was accused of fatally shooting two of his former co-workers Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of East Grand Avenue, according to Chicago police. The incident occurred around 1:18 p.m., on the north side of Navy Pier near an administrative office in a loading dock area.

Raylon East, a 36-year-old South Shore resident, faces two counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony unlawful use of a weapon, police said.
