Elly De La Cruz and Andrew Abbott will represent the Cincinnati Reds at next week's MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta after Abbott's selection Tuesday.

"It's not frustration, those guys that got picked deserved it, by far," Abbott said on Sunday. "I mean, I think I did enough to deserve it, but at the end of the day, I don't control it, so I don't put a lot on it.

Cincinnati Reds ace Hunter Greene has been on the injured list since the beginning of June with a groin strain. On Wednesday, Greene faced five batters in a simulated game. Jim Day reported during Friday's game against the Phillies that the plan is for Greene to throw a simulated bullpen on Saturday and see how he feels.
