A Georgia man who set off a homemade bomb at the home of a woman he viscously stalked — after releasing a python in the residence to eat her daughter — was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison, prosecutors said.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a recall for oysters distributed to multiple states, including Georgia, due to possible norovirus contamination.

Since 2022, nine GOP-led states have left ERIC, a voter data collective, amid such concerns as partisan influence, increasing costs, and a failure to address voter fraud.

The FDA is advising restaurants and food retailers not to serve or sell, and to dispose of oysters harvested from parts of Louisiana between Jan. 10 and Feb. 4, because they may be contaminated with norovirus, according to an FDA news release.
