Bronx Rep. Ritchie Torres is backing Andrew Cuomo for mayor, saying the ex-governor will provide the “competence and courage” needed to run New York City.
Since resigning in disgrace, the former governor has largely weathered his scandals and carefully orchestrated his political comeback.
“Andrew Cuomo would probably be the most common-sense candidate in the Democratic primary,” said Asian Wave Alliance President Yiatin Chu. The Asian Wave Alliance advocates for merit-based education and tougher anti-crime policies.
