Doctor Who alum Jodie Whittaker and The Crown actor Jason Watkins have joined the cast of the BBC's screen adaptation of James Graham's play Dear England. Filming has begun on the four-part series about Gareth Southgate and the England soccer team.

They are joined by Jason Watkins as former Football Association chairman Greg Dyke and Daniel Ryan as former assistant manager Steve Holland. In addition to Fiennes, several other cast members will reprise their roles for the TV adaptation,

Daniel Ryan joins the "Dr. Who" star and "The Crown" alum in the four-part drama about the England men's soccer team, with Joseph Fiennes playing England manager Gareth Southgate.
