India's Vodafone Idea reported a bigger-than-expected second-quarter loss on Wednesday, weighed down by a shrinking user base.

Debt-ridden telecom firm Vodafone Idea on Wednesday said its consolidated loss narrowed to Rs 7,175.9 crore in the September quarter.

Vodafone Idea shares declined 2.47 per cent to hit a low of Rs 7.48 on BSE, taking their one-month fall to 17 per cent. The stock has lost 56 per cent of its market value in 2024 so far.
