Here's how you can help those supporting those in need after Hurricane Helene struck East Tennessee. TENNESSEE, USA — In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, dozens of East Tennesseans are reeling from the severe weather event's impact on communities.

Athens Utilities said it got a call to help crews in Tennessee with damage from Hurricane Helene. Athens Utilities wrote that a six-man line crew was sent to Erwin, Tennessee, to help the line crew with all the damage from Hurricane Helene.
