The Irmo Little League team pulled off a dramatic rally in an elimination game against Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the Little League World Series quarterfinals.

Maxen Snoozy was brilliant once again as Sioux Falls avoided elimination Tuesday with a 9-0 win over Bonney Lake, Washington. South Dakota now advances in the loser’s bracket. They’ll play Wednesday night at 6 p.

The Sioux Falls Little League baseball team is going back to the Little League World Series. After a 6-0 shutout victory Aug. 8 over North Dakota to win the Midwest Region Tournament, the Sioux Falls team will represent the Midwest Region in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where the Little League World Series will be held Aug. 13-24.
