In the age of incremental phone upgrades, Google just gave the Pixel 10 a leg up over a lot of other baseline flagship smartphones.
At Wednesday’s Made by Google event, the company announced new features in Google Photos that will allow users to ask the app to edit their pictures for them. The functionality will launch first on Pixel 10 devices in the U.S., allowing people to describe whatever edits they want to make to the photo by either voice or text.

Instead of chasing thinness, Google is looking to one-up its rivals by adding an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which is a first for any foldable phone.
Google is also introducing a collection of Pixelsnap cases compatible with the new magnetic functionality. The cases for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold include moonstone, jade, and obsidian color options, while the 10 Pro XL adds a porcelain option, and the 10 and 10 Pro add indigo, frost, and lemongrass versions.
Google employs the Qi2 wireless charging standard for the Pixel 10 and 10 Pro, which charge at up to 15W. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is Qi2.2 certified and charges at up to 25W wirelessly. Since the Pixelsnap chargers use Qi 2, they can also charge non-Pixelsnap devices.
