Strong, dry winds are continuing across the region — even as some wind alerts are expected to expire later today.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester area saw some severe winds Friday afternoon and early evening. See some photos and videos of the wind, and some of the damage it caused. See photos from some trees that fell down on Elmgrove Road and Shadow Lane in Gates Friday evening.

Mostly cloudy and windy conditions remain Tuesday, with highs in the upper 30s and 40s. Strong winds through the day particularly for the Rocky Mtn. Front. High Wind Warning in effect through 11pm.

We're starting today with a windy and very dry weather pattern, and this is going to continue through at least tomorrow.
