Fast forward to the present day, and the sons of these two boxing legends, Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr, find themselves in a different boxing landscape. The sport has changed dramatically, now overshadowed by issues such as doping allegations and questionable matchmaking.

The second fight between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will be conducted at the middleweight limit of 11st 6lb (160lbs). Like the first encounter, there is a rehydration clause, meaning neither man can put on more than 10lb between Friday's weigh-in and Saturday morning.

In addition to boxing sessions every day, Benn would also complete daily hour-long cycles on Zwift at 7am, and plenty of neck exercises to build up his strength. He sustained a shoulder injury during sparring in the month before the fight, however, curtailing his attempt to return to professional boxing.

This animosity, he explained, "spilled over" into their Tottenham Hotspur Stadium bout, a "classic encounter" ultimately won by Eubank Jr via unanimous decision. While Benn seeks redemption on Saturday, he appears at peace with recent events.
