Blood on his clothes, Franklin Twp. homicide suspect waited at Columbus police HQ for over an hour for officers to respond to his mental crisis calls.

The boys, ages 10 and 11, were among five victims shot when gunfire erupted around 7 p.m. at the corner of Chancellor Avenue and Leslie Street, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said. The 10-year-old child and a 21-year-old woman were killed and three others, the 11-year-old, a 19-year-old man and a 60-year-old man, were injured.
