October 14, 1908 - The Chicago Cubs were up 2-0 in Game Five of the 1908 World Series on Oct. 14, 1908, and the Detroit Tigers were looking to score. With two outs and runners on second and third, Wahoo Native Sam Crawford stepped up to the plate.

"I wish everybody could see it," Dansby Swanson said after the Cubs got past the Padres with a 3-1 win. "Full joy. Amazing.”
