A former St Louis Fox 2 television anchor is accused of stabbing her 80-year-old mother to death on Halloween morning, according to police reports.

Angie Mock is a former TV anchor who worked at St. Louis-based KTVI Fox 2 between 2011 and 2015. Mock has been charged with first-degree murder for fatally stabbing her 80-year-old mother.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a woman, later identified as 47-year-old Angelynn "Angie" Mock, standing outside the residence. Upon entering the home, police found Mock's mother, Anita Avers, 80, unresponsive on her bed with multiple stab wounds.
