Alaska Airlines, the dominant carrier in Alaska, said it will strive to prevent disruptions in flight-dependent communities.

Alaska told SFGATE it has decided to cut flights from its most popular routes, but declined to comment on how the flight disruptions would directly impact passengers at SFO.
