BSE Sensex soared 1,359.51 points, or 1.63 per cent, to an all-time high of 84,544.31. Similarly, Nifty also surged 375.15 points, or 1.48 per cent, to close at a record 25,790.95 on Friday.

The stock market closed in the green, with benchmark indices hitting new all-time highs at the end of closing sessions on Monday.

The Nifty 50 hit a record high of 25,956 points before settling at 25,934, up 0.55 per cent. Similarly, the S&P BSE Sensex reached a fresh high of 84,922 points, closing at 84,864 points, 0.38 per cent higher than the previous close.

Nifty Bank gained 0.5 percent, led by strong performances from HDFC Bank, SBI, and Kotak Mahindra, propelling it to a lifetime high of 54,088.

Equity indices tracking positiive global sentiment ended at fresh closing hghs in Monday's session amid broad-based buying. Nifty at the close ended near 25,940, up 0.57 per cent or 148.1 points while Sensex added 384.3 points or 0.45 per cent and closed at 84,928.61 levels.
