Blizzard has officially announced how it’s bringing 6v6 back to Overwatch, and it’s definitely more than what we expected. Beyond just bringing the old ways back to the game after removing them for Overwatch 2, Blizzard has announced a new event called Overwatch Classic that will reflect what the game was like with Overwatch 1.0.

The Overwatch Classic event will run for three weeks starting tomorrow, November 12, and feature the game’s original roster with their original ability sets. This will also include a return to the 6v6 rule set,

Blizzard has confirmed that the Overwatch Classic launch date is set for Tuesday November 12, with the mode available until Monday, December 2. It’s housed within Overwatch 2’s Events Hub, so unlike WoW Classic you won’t need to download a whole new game.
