In today's Kirby Air Riders Direct presentation, game director Masahiro Sakurai himself was on hand to break down new features, returning modes, characters, Air Ride machines and more in this frantic vehicle action game coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 system on November 20.

Nintendo confirms Kirby Air Riders will launch on 20 November 2025 for Switch 2, with Masahiro Sakurai directing and new features including 16-player City Trial, extra riders, and copy abilities for all characters.

Much to the pleasure of fans everywhere, notably the Nintendo Direct stream chat, City Trial is back with an all-new map: Skyah, a giant floating island that feels similar to the original City Trial map while offering new secrets to discover.
