Apple's largest iPhone producer has reportedly ordered hundreds of its India-based Chinese workers to return to their native China but for unspecified reasons.

Bloomberg reported that over 300 Chinese workers had returned home from Foxconn’s iPhone plants in Tamil Nadu over the past two months.

The move was reportedly taken due to Chinese restrictions on labour and tech exports, which could disrupt Apple's scaling efforts in India and affect the broader 'Make in India' initiative aimed at transforming India into a global electronics manufacturing hub.
