Alabama's thrilling 41-34 win over Georgia on Saturday has knocked the Bulldogs out of the No. 1 seed in this week's College Football Playoff projections. Texas, the current No. 1 in the AP Top 25, is now the projected SEC champion in its first season as a league member.

Alabama has now won nine out of the last 10 meetings with Georgia. According to ESPN, the Bulldogs have an impressive 45-3 record since 2021. However, all three of those losses came against the Crimson Tide, as Kalen DeBoer has been able to pick up where Nick Saban left off.
