The Arizona Cardinals fell to the Denver Broncos in 27-7 fashion on Saturday night, dropping their preseason record to 1-1 on the night. Neither team played their starters following a joint practice held on Thursday - you can read more about that here.

Earlier today, Denver Broncos insider Mike Klis reported the Broncos had signed fullback Adam Prentice. In order to make room for Prentice, a corresponding roster move had to be made. According to Zac Stevens of DNVR, offensive lineman Nick Gargiulo has been placed on injured reserve. That news was confirmed by Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette.
